Professor Alan Graham Stuart has been a BCS member since 1988, and is a Consultant Cardiologist and Associate Professor of Sport and Exercise Cardiology at the University of Bristol.
In December 2021 he will be rowing approximately 3,000 nautical miles across the Atlantic, from the Canary islands to Antigua, raising money for the Tearfund – a charity that partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries to tackle poverty through sustainable development, responding to disasters, and challenging injustice.
